The moment I care about with a hyaluronic acid serum is the one after the initial slip has gone. Can I put on the next layer without still feeling the serum on my fingers? With Naturium Quadruple Hyaluronic Acid Serum 5%, I didn’t feel any stickiness once it had dried. For a $17 hydration step, that’s a more convincing reason to keep the bottle on the shelf than the large percentage on the label.
Naturium puts four molecular weights of hyaluronic acid into this formula. They’re variations of the same moisture-binding ingredient. Naturium names the four sizes as very low, low, medium and high, without breaking out an individual percentage for each. The difference that’s easiest to judge at home is what happens to the next layer of your routine.

Shake the bottle, spread an even layer after cleansing and follow with moisturizer. A thin application makes it easier to tell when the serum has settled.
