K18 Leave-In Hair Mask Dupes: 7 Cheaper Alternatives

The brand describes N°.3PLUS as protein-free and says it addresses three bond types through the cortex and cuticle. K18 instead uses sh-Oligopeptide-78 after shampoo. Those mechanisms and tests are not directly comparable, and no independent human study found in this pass establishes a winner.

The practical split is clearer than the marketing. Pick Olaplex if a pre-wash treatment fits your routine or if K18's wheat protein and no-conditioner-first step leave your hair stiff.
