I'd choose Advanced Night Repair Serum for a face-and-neck serum step, and consider the Eye Supercharged Gel-Creme for the eye area. Buying both to complete the range makes little sense if your current routine already does what you need.

My reason to consider it A serum for the wider face-and-neck routine A separate eye-area step with a specific purpose

Product descriptions and prices are from Estée Lauder’s US product pages, checked 30 October 2026. These are two selected sizes at brand prices, not live Amazon offers or a claim about cost per application.

The smaller jar is not a cheaper way to buy the serum

The eye cream has the lower ticket price, but at these sizes it costs nearly twice as much per labelled ounce. It is also intended for a smaller application area. Neither number tells us how many days a jar or bottle will last a particular person.

Decide which step you want before comparing prices. A cheaper eye-cream jar does not fulfil the brief if you want a serum for your face. A larger serum bottle is not necessarily better value if your reason for shopping is an eye-area product.

A gift set needs the same scrutiny. Add up the sizes of products you intend to use before assigning value to the extra miniatures. A discount on two steps is still an extra purchase if you only wanted one.

What the shared name does tell you

Estée Lauder identifies hyaluronic acid and its Night Peptide in both products. That is a useful connection between them. Shared highlighted ingredients do not establish identical formulas, concentrations or results.

The eye cream should not be treated as a concentrated serum, or the serum as a larger version of the eye cream. The names and packaging identify separate products, and the brand gives them different application areas.

For a formula-specific concern, check the ingredient list on the exact packaging being purchased. A list for an older Eye Supercharged Complex, another Advanced Night Repair treatment, or a product sold in another market may not describe the jar in front of you.

How much weight I'd give the eye-cream claims

The brand says Eye Supercharged Gel-Creme improves the appearance of dark circles and fine lines. I would read that as a reason to investigate the product, rather than a guarantee that it will change the feature I am concerned about.

Before spending another $78, decide what improvement would make the product worthwhile. Liking the texture and the way the area looks after moisturising is different from finding that a longer-term concern has changed.

We have not run a controlled comparison showing that adding this eye cream to the serum improves on an existing routine. I would not recommend the pair as an automatic upgrade.

If you are happy with your current eye-area product, keeping it is a reasonable choice. Matching the brand of your serum is not, by itself, a benefit I would pay for.

When I'd pick the serum

The serum would be my choice between these two if the purchase is intended for the wider face-and-neck routine. That follows its stated purpose and avoids paying for an eye-area product to answer a different question.

Before buying the larger bottle, compare it with the less expensive options in our Advanced Night Repair serum dupe guide. That guide separates alternatives by what they offer, including hydration and ferment-based formulas. Those comparisons concern the face serum. They should not be carried over to the eye cream without checking the actual products.

If you already own the serum and like it, give yourself time to judge that purchase before adding a second product from the range. It is easier to decide whether an extra step is worthwhile when you know what you want it to improve.

Can you use the serum around your eyes instead?

Follow the directions for the exact bottle. The US serum instructions specify the face and neck; the eye product has its own directions. If eye-area use is the reason you are buying, check that use with the brand before treating the serum as an interchangeable option.

Both are marketed for morning and evening use despite the Night Repair name. For application order, follow the current product instructions on your packaging.

Where to compare the exact versions

The Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Gel-Creme listing on Amazon US requires a size selection. Check the size and seller before comparing its price with the 0.5 oz brand price above.

For the serum, compare the size as well as the price. Make sure a basket or search result says Serum Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex if that is the product you decided to buy.
